It is hard to believe it has already been 4 years, it goes by so quickly! It was October 1 2008 that Menifee became the City of Menifee. As tradition has it, we will celebrate by having a day long festival of fun at the Mt San Jacinto College parking lot on October 13 2012.
The day will kick off with the Menifee Motor Madness Car Show, an event put on by Rotary Club of Menifee. This show will feature classic cars older than 1974, live music and car related vendors. The event starts at 9am and goes until 3pm.
At 2pm, the City of Menifee Birthday Celebration will kick off on the south side of the parking lot along Antelope Rd. The birthday party will include 3 stages of live music, a kid zone with arts and crafts, BMX and Skateboard demo, Gourmet Food Trucks, over 75 vendors and the Taste of Menifee.
Bands that will be playing include Guilty Conscience, CLOUD, Universal Trap, Sound Defense, and Eloise Says. Guilty Conscience is the headliner band and will be playing family friendly pop and country songs from the 70’s till today. CLOUD is a band to keep your eye on, with terrific young talent and solid songwriting; it won’t be long until you hear this band on the radio and see them TV.
The best part of this event is it is all free for everyone! All Ages are invited to come spend the day checking out cars, listing to music and eating. Hope to see you there!
